One of our Blessed Mother’s many names is “Stella Maris” (or Star of the Sea), reflecting her role in guiding us through challenging times. When the waves of life threaten to drown us, she holds steady. When we feel shipwrecked or attacked, our mother teaches us to let it be and ponder a deeper meaning. When we are shouting into the wind, her wisdom encourages us to return to quiet. In that stillness—in simply being—Christ will be born. She always leads us to her Son. Holy Mary, pray for us now and in the hour of our death.
